Opelousas Family Worship Center brings the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost through every avenue available. With its primary focus on the needs of today's family, OFWC provides ministry outreaches aimed at reaching those who are hurting and in need.  Bishop Albert Richard operates under a powerful anointing in the areas of healing, deliverance, and prosperity.  In 2008, the power of God began to fall upon Opelousas Family Worship Center in a new way.  The "Fresh Fire" of the Holy Spirit started to burn away diseases, demonic forces, addictions, hang-ups, bad attitudes, bad relationships, negativity, and all manner of things that plague people from every walk of life.  For 8 weeks, OFWC kept a pool of water (Pool of Bethesda) in the sanctuary.  Those with a desire for a move of God stepped in with faith and experienced a change in their lives that is simply unexplainable.  Young and old alike, people came from every direction to witness the Holy Spirit at work.  In Opelousas, the fresh fire of the Holy Spirit is burning like a ball of coal glistening in the night.
